Kinesis Movement Arts is a studio for Pilates, Gyrotonic® and Somatic Movement Education. Located in San Francisco’s Marina district, we offer individualized private and semi-private Pilates and Gyrotonic® instruction. Sessions are tailored to the unique physical needs and goals of each client and may focus on fitness, injury rehabilitation or pre- and post-natal training.
Our private and semi-private sessions are an expansive 70 minutes long, for a deeper and more comprehensive workout.
We also offer group classes and workshops on specific health, fitness and embodiment topics.
Central to the work is the integration of mind and body, attention and effort. Through the development of physical awareness, we learn to move with more efficiency and grace while building strength and resilience. We believe that a great workout is one that’s challenging, educational and fun.
