In this course we’ll be working to cultivate specificity in our expression of physical and imaginative states. Improvising with movement, voice and language, we’ll develop these expressions in spontaneous compositions, in which we practice maintaining commitment to personal material / sources while being alert and responsive to the ensemble environment.
A central focus of the class will be the cultivation of an intense awareness of change which allows our attention, current experience and expression to constantly transform.
